Men’s Health 10km Night Race

The Men's Health 10km Night Race is one of the most popular races on the calendar, attracting over 2000 runners to the Sea Point Promenade. The race is fast and flat, ensuring runner's have a chance to take a crack at their PB.

Mouille Point Lighthouse, on Beach Road, Green Point.

When:

Wednesday, the 3rd of March.

The race starts at 18:15, and registration starts at 16:45.

How do I enter?

Entry’s only on the day, so get there early. Registration opens at 16:45

    I believe it is scheduled for 3 March this year. It’s always a Wednesday evening in early March.

    I enjoyed the race again, but still think some better organization at the end is needed. This year was better than last year – with that insane tent mob – but the one person writing down the times/numbers at the end bottle neck was really silly. Also I wish the clock could be raised because with the congestion at the end it is always hard if not impossible to SEE it, and I like to take my official time as the clock time when I finish…

    I challenged a bunch of colleagues – who are insanely fit – so I came second last out of the 8 but at 00:55 and position 899 I was happy.

      Thanks for your comment Jane. I do agree that the finish needs to be looked at, possibly a move away from the card handout version of timing. With so many people finishing at the same time, it is a challenge.
